Worth noting that this only applies to iOS AR via USDZ, so from Safari/Chrome
When you use the âWebXR Viewerâ browser by Mozilla on iOS, you do get actual WebXR and it works ![]()
Oh okay cool cool

I have tried running the unity version of the sample, but just the viewport and load times have been ridiculously slow
by user 392979063620501504
For which one did you get slow load times? And when doing what?
The image tracking sample, I think itâs my laptop because unity in general takes 5-10 min to load

Oh what ![]()
That is slow
Yep

Blender runs great, been using it for 3 years no problem but unity is a whole new pain in the ass
by user 392979063620501504
Yeah I mean we do provide multiple integrations for exactly this reason, certainly donât want to force you to use Unity.
Weâre actively looking into exposing the image tracking component from Blender today, fingers crossed ![]()
Thank you thank you looking forward to it ![]()

Amazing guys, thank you ![]()

Itâs live in the latest release
Hey! Thanks for the update, I have updated blender and am starting to experiment with it

Can I get a quick breakdown on what these settings do please?

by user 392979063620501504
At the minimum you
- set the image
- set the marker size (physical size)
- set the object, can be the object the component is on
Thatâs it
The other two are more specific,
- when you want to spawn an object multiple times whenever a marker is detected
- when you know your image wonât move (e.g. a poster), then once itâs first detected tracking can stop
I see
, Iâll give it a shot and share the link w/ image soon
