I’m currently using the scrolly telling example to start a project (Unity). When i build, the Index.html file gets regenerated. I’d like to keep my html edits in between builds. Is there a way to keep the index.html file from being overwritten on build?

Needle does not edit your index.html - it sounds like you are editing the output of your web build which would be not correct.
Please make sure you edit the index.html in your web project and not in the build output folder (the dist folder for example in the scrollytelling example).
