The OrbitControls does internally have a bunch more settings which are currently not exposed to the blender ui. One of them is setting the “lookat point” which is the point the camera rotates around. The scene above has been built in Unity with this option explicitly configured
We can add something like this to Blender as well - I am not saying it is not possible and i understand what you mean. But thats why im asking you the questions above
sorry i d’ont understand your question

No problem
My question was if there is an existing option in blender to set the background color of the scene that you maybe tried to use before asking here or if you tried to disable the hdri lighting setting in the viewport panel for example
oh ok, i try to set the bg color of the scene before asking. I think it’s a basic setup and hdri is very specific (for me) so i was surprised it was a component to do that.

it’s like the look at point for me it’s better for orbit control than a point at a closet surface, like in Unity. But here, my idea is to do more simpler stuff for the Web and i don’t want to use Unity for a simple interaction like that. Or i don’t understand very well?

Ok i understand
youre totally right you dont need that. Ill see if I can make an update of the addon tomorrow with some improvements
Wow amazing! Thank you for your help (and your time)

Hi @Nicolas Tilly when you update to the latest version of the Blender integration you can use the WorldOpactiy (<0.5) to have a solid background color OR enable fitCamera
in the OrbitControls component. Here’s a quick video as well: https://twitter.com/marcel_wiessler/status/1707089748605415546
Awesome! I’ll try that!
