The only thing was an error installing toktx that path was too long to add to PATH but I assumed it was only for for the final build. I’ll reinstall everything and try Unity 2022

I tried it a few more times. In 2022 there were more errors so I tried again in 2021 and recorded 2 minute process of setup (skipping all loading/compiling) NeedleSetupError.mp4 - Google Drive

I restarted it a few times and now it shows scene in headset but it is frozen. Startup view is frozen in space, and spinning hourglass is showing. I can look around but the 3D view doesn’t update). After few restarts it works once, then after updating scene it is frozen again

To show the frozen view I’ve tried your particle scene example (frozen), then my simple scene (frozen), and then show webxr example from Mozilla (didn’t have this issue) WebXRNeedleVsOther.mp4 - Google Drive

Another test if it gives any clues. After previous message I left everything running, came back, cleared Chrome console, pressed Enter VR and everything was running fine, then pressed exit and enter again and got it frozen again with this message:

I think it’s a known issue - if I recall correctly it wasnt something we could fix but I dont remember the details right now
Yes, I believe it’s a known issue in Chromium browsers unfortunately where sometimes the session just “breaks” and it requires a browser restart. Also reproduces on all other WebXR experiences for me occassionally - does any other WebXR app still work after you receive that or similar error messages?
The linked webxr_vr_cubes is also frozen. Room Scale consistently works without needing to restart browser. It is very random, it sometimes starts working again without restarting the browser, but most of the time it doesn’t. I see chrome flags has some options with WebXR in the name, but it seems freezing happens in all states, so I’ve reset it to default. I assume the issue is then with threejs+chromium engine, not directly with Needle.

Yes its not then - we know about this issue and to my knowledge all you can do right now is restart chrome

Is this error also relate, as this one is more frequent, and I am getting it while restarting chrome for the past 10 times (no other instance of chrome is running and I have shortcut for https://localhost:3000/ on desktop)
