Hey, I am getting the following error when creating brand new Needle Engine projects
This screenshot is from Unity 2021.3.17F1, but I have also gotten errors when creating a new project on 2022 LTS and Unity 6.0.15f1
Is this a known issue?

Hello nostalgicbear,
The issue you’re facing when trying to create a new Needle Engine project may be related to the file system of the drive where you’re attempting to create the project. Needle Engine requires the project to be on a disk formatted with NTFS, as other formats like exFAT or FAT32 do not support symlinks, which are necessary for proper functioning.
Here are some steps to troubleshoot:
Check Your Drive Format:
msinfo32
).File and Permissions:
Unity Version Compatibility:
If after checking these you still encounter issues, please provide any specific error messages shown during the project creation process so that we can further investigate.
For more information, refer to the document regarding project creation issues (see faq).

Hi, this sounds like a Unity issue and we handle thiy by compiler defines - could you try a full reimport of the package?
Note that your Unity 2021.3.17 is a very old 2021 version (LTS is 2021.3.45). Unity changed their API in 2021.3.18.
Same for 6.0.15f1 (LTS is 6000.0.46f1) - that being said the FindAnyObjectByType should be available in all Unity 6er versions.
Which 2022 exactly did you use? Could you try openig the project with a newer Unity version?
Hi @marwie1 Thanks for the help. Its working in the latest LTS version of Unity 6 so I suspect you were spot on. However after logging it, it seems to think I am on a basic account, despite being on a PRO account for about a year or more at this stage.
Hi @nostalgicbear you might just need to switch to the team that has the license in the dropdown a bit further down?
Its only the one option @marwie1 that says “My Team” which is selected by default.
Is it possible to discuss this on a support channel so I can share emails that have been using the PRO licences?
Hi, yes I’ll DM you, if you just signed up for Needle Cloud we need to connect your existing license
