#question point cloud or 3d model for object detection in AR?

query on AR. can the needle detect a 3d printed object if i upload the same 3d model data used for 3d print to unity3d? Or upload a point cloud of a scanned physical object, like in reality composer, so that the needle in AR detects the object? I want to place text in AR above the 3d printed object.

Hey there, on iOS this would be technically possible I think (as we can produce the same data that Reality Composer can) but there’s no built-in object tracking for WebXR yet
