Strange! It wasnt the first time you did a clean install I guess? 
Maybe some file was locked by e.g. vscode?
Maybe, I got errors because of csg bvh which doesn’t like to use current version of three.js (normally this library use an older one, which generate warnings or errors, maybe it slowed down the process)
