Needle Engine failed to install on Unity 2021.3.8f1

Can you open the directory and maybe just delete the needle engine directory (right click on the Needle Engine label) and try deleting the node_modules folder?

Ok.

Thank you and sorry about that. my assumption is that npm installation installed it partially only (due to errors earlier) and failed at some point so there are orphan folders - but not sure about that

No problem. Thank You the quick support. I need to try something out and I will be back soon.

Hi, I tried to delete the folder but it didn’t work.
I also created a brand new project and it still doesn’t work.

Is that true? If you open the path that is logged there?

Yes

There’s no “node_modules” folder at all which would mean it didnt install anything. Do you have any other logs?

Did you restart Unity / your PC after downgrading nodejs?

Well. Will look for more logs.

Can you try running npm install in the “package~” folder?

Doesn’t seem to do anything.

That’s… strange? What does node --version and npm --version print?
