I’m using the Focus Distancers with Bokeh depth of field which is producing fantastic results, however I would like to render some things like 3d worldspace UI and hotspots or even other 3d models above the depth of field effect or make them ignore it/excluded from post processing, is this possible?
I’m sorry, I couldn’t find a response.
You should be able to have a second camera with layers, and that camera then doesn’t use post effects. Also, Canvas has an “always on top” option that does pretty much the same.
Thanks, just did that -wanted to check only because in some older projects I made a script that changed the render order of objects that worked, and in another project I used the Render Objects render feature in URP but I couldn’t remember if that worked only for stencil. Multiple layer cameras works great for my needs.
In fact for some reason overlay stacked cameras don’t seem to be rendering - is there something I need to do to make overlay cameras work in Needle? It is working fine in the Unity editor and I can see the overlay camera is rendering the culling layers it sees on top of the main base camera.
