How to get rid of "This is a temporary project"

When I open one of the sample apps, it creates a copy of the scene in the ā€œSamples/Needle Engineā€ but in the export inspector window it says ā€œThis is a temporary projectā€. Even if I save another copy of the scene somewhere else with a different name it still says the same.

How can I make the project not be temporary?

Thats easy: create the project anywhere else than in the library :slightly_smiling_face: library projects are considered temporary because they are usually ignored in sourcecontrol

OK coolā€¦ thanks! Haver a good breakfast

We generated the samples projects there when we didnt need/want to make any changes to the template itself

might be worth having a Clone button to Open the scene but copy to outside the library folder somewhere

you have done a great job allowing me to browse all the samples live so by the time I get to the Open stage I probably want to modify and play around with it

So to recap, to move a projects three.js project, click the ā€œPickā€ button at the top of the inspector in the Export component and choose a different folder, then do an install after moving the project folder to regenerate all of the required files.
