PNPM support

Is it planned to choose a different node package manager than npm in the future ? PNPM gets pretty popular as it uses hard links to share common packages between projects instead of duplicating them on each project. :slightly_smiling_face:

There are no concrete plans right now. I havent used PNPM yet - but sounds interesting. By hard links you mean it makes something like symlinks to some cache directory of the previously downloaded/installed package versions?

Exactly !

But if I recall correctly, they are hard links as it managed in the drive directly and not like a kinda shortcut. As if in the drive’s partition there were two pointers on a single data set.
