Yes, that is very likely. It’s basically the “zero alpha” solid color. But shouldn’t my video element then be visible, even with z-index = -2?

Yes, it’s working pretty nice 
Only one drawback so far: The arjs video canvas size is not the same as needle-engine (strange small size difference ?!?). This leads to a small offset in tracking. I’ll setup a github repo later this day and post the link here
